Mind the gap: it can be tempting to miss out months here and there where you haven’t had a job – don’t! If you’ve had a gap in your employment history, say so and say what you did. If you spent the time looking for jobs or deciding what you really wanted to do, say so – it’s what you did after all.
Excluding interests & hobbies: Always include them as it’s an insight into who you are and what you like doing. It is an area you should feel confident talking about at interview.
